Team manager Bobby Motaung said on Wednesday that Pule returned to the club last Monday and produced a medical certificate indicating that he was sick the whole time and could not attend training.
"As you know, we were in South Korea and only came back on Friday so the chairman (Kaizer Motaung) could not immediately deal with the issue as he was busy with other club engagements,” said Bobby Motaung.
"This matter was discussed at out weekly management meeting on Tuesday and we felt that the explanation given by Jabu was reasonable and acceptable."
"Yes Jabu committed and offence by missing training without permission but there’s medical certificate that exonerates him. In a situation like that you have to be considerate.
"However, Jabu was given a strong verbal warning by the club that as a professional he is responsible and accountable for his actions. Even if he is not in good health, he needs to alert the club," said Motaung.
Chances of Pule making an appearance in the Premiership clash against Moroka Swallows at Rand Stadium this Sunday are very slim particularly as he has not been training.
