It’s a third sold-out affair for Kaizer Chiefs since the start of the season as they welcome Mamelodi Sundowns to the FNB Stadium this afternoon for a Betway Premiership fixture that is expected to produce fireworks.

The two teams have both collected maximum points in their opening two league matches and will want to continue the 100 percent record when do battle this afternoon.

Chiefs have not had much time to rest after playing against AmaZulu in Durban on Wednesday, where the Glamour Boys scored three goals.

With bragging rights and rivalry at stake, Coach Nasreddine Nabi has decided to make one change to the team that started the last match. This will see Njabulo Blom make way for Edson Castillo.

Coach Nabi’s team will once again take to the field with a 4-4-2 shape.

Fiacre Ntwari is the goalkeeper.

The defence has not changed, with Bradley Cross at left back, Rushwin Dortley and Inacio Miguel - who scored with a header on Wednesday - in the centre, and Reeve Frosler at right-back.

Yusuf Maart will be joined by Castillo in the middle of he park. Mduduzi Shabalala will run on the right and Gaston Sirino, who was on the scoresheet against AmaZulu, is at left wing.

Wandile Duba will work with Wednesday’s goalscorer, Ranga Chivaviro in attack.

Maart is the captain of the team.

The referee is Skhumbuzo Gasa. His assistants are Khamusi Razwimisani and Kamohelo Ramutsindela. The fourth official is Abraham Mashala.

The Phefeni Glamour Boys’ third Betway Premiership clash of the season, against Masandawana, will kick off at 15:00 at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. The sold-out match is live on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202 on DStv, SABC TV and SABC radio stations - with regular updates of the match on X (Twitter) @KaizerChiefs.
