Amakhosi reserves remain seventh in the 2025/26 DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) standings following a 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United at Princess Magogo stadium in Umlazi, south of Durban on Sunday afternoon.
In the match, a designated home fixture for Chiefs that formed part of the DDC Festival held in KwaZulu-Natal, Shaun Els gave the defending champions a first half lead only for Sekhukhune to earn a point with a second half equaliser.
Amakhosi will be highly motivated to add to their eight-point tally so far when they host Marumo Gallants next Sunday, 19 October in Round 7 of the national U3 league.
The youth academy teams enjoyed an unblemished round of SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) fixtures against Jomo Cosmos at the Village on Sunday, winning in all four age categories.
The U14s won 2-0, followed by a 3-1 victory for the U15s, a rampaging 5-0 rout by the U17s and a 3-2 triumph for the U19s to complete the set.
On Saturday, 18 October, they travel north to the ACCP Grounds to face Rockefvs FC, beginning at 9:00.
