Kaizer Chiefs reserves continued their remarkable start to the 2026/27 DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) season with a 4-0 thrashing of Marumo Gallants reserves in a DDC Festival encounter at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in KwaMhlanga.

Keitumetse Lesia and Tashiel Rugananan, who scored with a spectacular direct free kick, sent Amakhosi into halftime with a deserved two-goal lead, before Steven Mendes and Matala Makhubo added a couple more in the second period to emphasise their superiority on the day. The result maintains their 100 percent win record, as well as first place in the league standings.

Chiefs currently have a maximum 12 point after four rounds, two clear of second place and will feel confident of making it five from five when they host Durban City reserves next weekend, on Saturday, 24 October.
