Stuart Baxter believes that a draw was a fair result as Maritzburg United held the hosts, Kaizer Chiefs to a 1all draw at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The Briton had kept faith on the side that sent Bloemfontein
Celtic packing in Bloemfontein last Sunday.
"We knew it was not going to be an easy game. I thought we started well but our passing game let us down on several occasions in the first half.
"We gave away a lot of possession and I was not very pleased with that," said Baxter.
"I am sure the fans enjoyed the game as both teams had a go at each other. I do think a draw was a fair result at the end of the day.
"I think Tower (Eric Mathoho) did very well for us playing almost as a right back. I was also happy to see him scoring his first goal for the team. It was an important goal that brought us back in the game.
The former Bafana Bafana Coach insisted that he is fully focused on Chiefs performance; "We are not looking to see how other teams are performing. It is a case of here and now for us.
"We are very much preoccupied by our performance and I expect the lads to lift their game on Saturday when we face Golden Arrows," added Baxter.
Chiefs maintained their seven points lead on top of the Premiership collecting a total of 51 points with six games remaining.
