All roads lead to Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba – Chiefs v Arrows

Kaizer Chiefs will return to Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, 06 November when they welcome rejuvenated, Golden Arrows in what promises to be a thrilling Absa Premiership encounter.

The Glamour Boys last played at Peter Mokaba Stadium in May, during 2011/12 PSL Season when they sent Ajax Cape Town packing in quest to finish in a respectable position in the league.

A lot has changed since, with Amakhosi this season launching a serious attempt to compete for league honours, a trophy that has eluded the Club for the past six seasons.

Still first in the Absa Premiership, the Amakhosi will be hoping to return back to winning ways following two successive draws in the Absa Premiership against Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United during the month of October.

“We are responding to a call by the supporters to play at our alternative home ground, Peter Mokaba Stadium. The Limpopo Supporters Branches including the travelling supporters from other areas are excited about the upcoming fixture against Golden Arrows.

“The game gives the team an opportunity to return back to winning ways but also Arrows beat us the last time we met at the same stadium in the corresponding fixture last season. We have a score to settle with them,” said the Corporate Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday morning.

“The tickets for the highly anticipated game are already on sale at Shoprite/Checkers and Computicket nationwide selling for R40 adults. The fans need to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment,” added Maphosa.

Kick off for the game is at 19:30.
