Kaizer Chiefs travel to Morocco on Wednesday, 1st April for their crucial CAF Champions League first round second leg clash with Raja Casablanca this weekend in a buoyant mood, confident that they can overturn the 1-0 deficit from the first leg.

Amakhosi went into the international break on the back of an unexpected exit from the Nedbank Cup and will be doubly determined to bounce back against Raja. Coach Stuart Baxter believes his side have what it takes to progress to the next round of Africa’s foremost club competition.

“The team has worked hard in training and we are going to Morocco without any fear. We are well prepared for the challenge and shall give everything to give our supporters the result they crave,” he said.

Kaizer Chiefs marketing director Jessica Motaung added, “The players go with the hopes and wishes of everyone associated with the mighty Amakhosi. South Africa is right behind them in their quest to do us all proud.”

The match kicks off on 5 April 2015 at 7pm (8pm South African time) at the Stade Mohammed V. The team returns early next week to prepare for their league encounter against AmaZulu in Polokwane on Thursday 9 April 2015.
