“The vibrant atmosphere created by our massive fan base in KwaZulu-Natal has played a significant role in inspiring the Amakhosi to greatness over the years,” explains Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Motaung the reason for taking the CAF Champions League home game against Morocco’s Raja Casablanca to Durban.

“We didn’t hesitate to schedule this crucial Champions League home fixture at the Moses Mabhida stadium.”

The Glamour Boys overcame Botswana’s Township Rollers 3-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round.

“It is vital that we make the most of our home advantage to ensure the team is in a strong position when travelling to Morocco’s city of Casablanca for the return leg two weeks later,” continues Motaung.

“We appeal to all our supporters in the area to come out in big numbers, get behind the team and show our visitors just what it means to be Amakhosi 4 Life.”

The Moroccan side has won the CAF Champions League already three times, in 1989, 1997 and 1999.
