Newly crowned Vodacom Challenge champions, Kaizer Chiefs will be leaving the country on Thursday for their next assignment in the World Peace King Cup to be staged in Korea, Amakhosi's brand manager Vivian Casaletti confirmed.

The team is expected to arrive in Asia in the early hours of Saturday, July 12 where they will rest for while before their afternoon training session in preparation for their July 15 clash against Lyon of France.

"Even though, we were invited to take an entourage of 35, we will, however, take the entire team with, including the new players," confirmed Casaletti, "as we feel everyone needs to be exposed to such events.

"Plus winning the Vodacom Challenge has become a major boost in our preparations and I am sure that we will represent our country with pride."

Chiefs' next fixture will be against a local side Seongnam on July 17, before taking on Besiktas of Turkey two days later.
