Kaizer Chiefs are still in pole position in the annual Telkom Charity Cup voting after amassing over 3764 votes by 16h00 on Thursday with Limpopo side Dynamos in second with 3225 votes.



Dynamos, who finished seventh in the league last season behind Chiefs in the sixth spot, overtook Orlando Pirates, who had occupied the second position ever since the voting lines were opened on Monday.



Pirates are now sitting at number three with 2521 votes, while another Northern Province side Black Leopards are one notch down with 2252 votes.



Sundowns are on the fifth spot with 2109, while Moroka Swallows, who finished sixth in last season's league campaign, is in position six with 881 votes.



The voting opening opened on Monday, June 23 soon after the tournament's launch in Sandton, Johannesburg, in which it was announced that the sponsorship for the competition has been increased to R4.5 million, which will run for the next five years.



The voting closing date is at midnight on July 25.
