Kaizer Chiefs U-13s scored an impressive 3-2 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns when the two clubs met in the SAFA Gauteng Development League at Clapham on Saturday.
Sadly, they were the only age group to enjoy any success on a difficult day for the youth teams, as the U-15s succumbed 4-1, while the U-17s lost narrowly by 3-2. In the final match of the day, Sundowns U-19s emerged with a 3-1 win over their Amakhosi counterparts.
The boys will go again this coming weekend with a series against ERESA at the Kaizer Chiefs Village on Saturday, 25 May. The U-13s get underway at 9:00, followed at 10:30 by the U-15s and the U-17s at midday, with the U-19s kicking off the day’s closing fixture at 14:00.
