Kaizer Chiefs' victory against Hearts of Oak in the semifinal of the Vodacom Challenge at Bafokeng Sports Palace on Saturday has won the Glamour Boys many accolades from their supporters.

The chatboard has been buzzing with messages of encouragement since Saturday and the new kids on the block, particularly Stanton Fredericks and Rowen Fernadez from Wits FC, were heaped with praises.

Lucky Maselesele, playing his first game for Amakhosi on his return from Manning Rangers, has also found a place in the hearts of Amakhosi supporters and many have called for his inclusion in the starting lineups.

John said on the chatboard; "After watching Chiefs playing on Saturday, I think management are coming fine in rebuilding a formidable team.

"There are two areas though those in my opinion need attention i.e. the back line and striking force. For the sake of depth in the back line, I think Chiefs needs two strong central defenders.

"In as far as the strikers are concern, besides what we’ve got at the moment, I see Chiefs missing a striker(s) that is/are more visible to convert as many crosses as possible or balls that are lending in 18 yards into goals."

Daniel Khuzwayo added; "Very good one John. We need two good defenders. We also need Dillon Shephard or David Kannemeyer to give challenge to our reversingly progressing Mthembu.

"We need young talent but while we make our present strikers good finishers, Chukwu and/or Mushangazhike are hungrily needed. But lets get one of these Ajax boys.

"Please also bring back Makua, because I think this year we are going to suffer a lot of injuries because the boys are skilful, quick, tricky and are not afraid of taking big defenders. The likes of Rabutla and Raphahlela, Khomane are going to be a big threat and blow to our talented team."

Mdu Khoza vehemently said; "I want Maselesele to start". But another faithful follower Ratha was quick to point out that such decisions should be left to the coaching staff.

Thembile Nqezo was simply overwhelmed by the glamour Boys. "I was really impressed with the way chiefs approach that game it was attacking all the way for any club if they want to win major trophies they need to play attacking football I want to say big up to Amakhosi for brilliant performance for the depth they have in their team i see them collecting every title well done boys keep up the good work c ya.
