Fullback Tsepo Masilela expressed disappointment to the season that did not bring any silverware to Naturena. Masilela though was happy that he played more games this season compared to the previous season.
kaizerchiefs.com spoke to the tough defender about the season that was:
How was the 2013/14 Psl season in general?
Masilela, "The season was a difficult one in a sense that we played lots of games and we travelled a lot as well but we really enjoyed the challenge,"
How did your Team do this season?
Masilela, "From winning the double last season to finishing without a trophy this season, I must say we are disappointed. Any big team in the world would be disappointed finishing without a trophy."
Looking at your individual performances - how do you feel about that?
Masilela, "As a player I always look to improve. I played many games this season compared to the last season, which is a plus. I'm not one to rate myself but I think i did well under the circumstances of fixture congestions."
It's Brazil World Cup time, which country do you fancy to do well?
Masilela, "My money is on the host nation Brazil. They have a good team and will be buoyant by the home support."
What will you be doing during the offseason?
Masilela, "I am going to spend most of my time with my family as you know that during the soccer season we are always away from home travelling and in camps."
Masilela made 35 appearance during the 2013/14 season, with 24 starts in the league and 11 starts in Cup games.
