Bafana Bafana Coach, Gordon Igesund called eight players from Kaizer Chiefs for the friendly game against Lesotho and the two 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic in Cameroon and Ethiopia.

The team to assemble on the 29th of May was announced in Johannesburg on Friday, 17 May.

Defender, Tefu 'Masha' Mashamaite has been rewarded for his fine performances this season and joined defenders, Eric Mathoho including Pa Gaxa, Tsepo Masilela who also return to the national team after missing out on the game against CAR in Cape Town back in March.

Also called up are midfielders, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala and forward Bernard Parker.

Club captain, Itumeleng Khune is expected to lead the side once more in the absence of regular captain, Bongani Khumalo.
