While the Kaizer Chiefs Senior Team were busy preparing for their clash against Bloemfontein Celtic, the Amakhosi Supporters Club (ASC) was busy engaging the faithful supporters during their two road shows in Mangaung.

On Friday the 23rd of September 2011, saw many of the supporters pack the Rocklands Shoprite area to buy authentic merchandise and get their membership cards. Men, women and children were seen wearing their Gold and Black jerseys as well as engaging with their favourite football brand. The Amakhosi Branches also had time to touch bases with the ASC team who processed branch membership and displayed Kaizer Chiefs merchandise including new retail items for sale.

On Saturday the 24th of September 2011, more of the Amakhsoi Faithful gathered at Hoffman Square for the continuation of the Bloemfontein road shows. Once again fans and supporters got a chance to interact with other supporters as well make sure that they became official members of the Family, by signing up for their membership.

Both road shows were successful as part of a series of many road shows that take place when the Amakhosi travel away from home and leading up to home games.

The Kaizer Chiefs Senior Team supported the Reach for a Dream Foundation by spending time with 14 year old Brian Roman, a young boy whose dream was to meet Siphiwe Tshabalala. Brian was lucky enough to meet the Players in camp at their hotel where Shabba introduced the whole team to him and handed him the new Kaizer Chiefs jersey. A dream that came true for a young Khosi looking to Rise with his favourite team.

The reception in Bloemfontein has been phenomenal as the Amakhosi Faithful continue to support the team. The Glamour Boys have prepared for tonight’s encounter against Bloemfontein Celtic and will endeavour to make their fans happy once again.

All the Bloemfontein supporters wished the Glamour Boys well for their match against Bloemfontein Celtic and had this to say to them: “Rise Khosi Rise!”
