Kaizer Chiefs will be hosting a Roadshow in Alexandra Township, ahead of the Absa Premiership match against Maritzburg United on Saturday, 14 September 2013. Kickoff is at 20:15, Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung made the announcement.

“Kaizer Chiefs are looking forward to visit one of the historic Townships in South Africa, Alexandra, established in 1912. We will be returning to the Pan Africa Mall, 13 Friday 2013, from 12h00 to 16h30 to promote our upcoming league fixture against Maritzburg United on Saturday. The supporters are hungry for league action and we thought it is necessary to create the vibe ahead of Saturday match.”

The Club recently unveiled the new home kit and the people of Alexandra and surroundings are looking forward to the activation; “We are bringing along KC Retail Store and the Supporters Club to setup a mobile store to showcase and sell the authentic Amakhosi merchandise, and also to give the supporters the opportunity to apply and renew their Club Membership Cards,” said the upbeat Motaung.

The Road Shows, held in conjunction with the main sponsor, Vodacom, have proven to be a success during the past season for the league and Cup double Champions, with supporters and the public attending in large numbers; ”We will be accompanied by our main sponsor Vodacom and they will be promoting ‘My 5’, one of their new and exciting products. Included in the menu of activities will be fun and games with a mixture of winning prizes and giveaways to make the afternoon a memorable one. Some of the Club Officials will be there to interact and pose for pictures with the Amakhosi Faithful,” continued Jessica Motaung.
