Kaizer Chiefs announced a partnership with Vodacom League-based team, Soweto Panthers, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010.

The partnership will see the Club help Soweto Panthers with training, coaching methods and football administration.

Speaking about this relationship, Football Manager Bobby Motaung confirmed that the relationship has been precipitated by the desire, particularly on the side of the Kaizer Chiefs, to contribute to the development of football in the country.

“We saw it proper as a Club to share with Soweto Panthers in the skills we have built over 40 years, both in the Coaching Department and Football Administration,” said Bobby Motaung.

“We are excited with this relationship,” said Chairman of Soweto Panthers, Mr Ali Mokoena.

“Particularly because it comes hot in the heels of the Fifa World Cup and we have no doubt this relationship will contribute immensely towards development of our young players and the game of football as a whole.
