Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Zimbabwean duo, defender Lincolin Zvasiya and midfielder Willard Katsande both on three year deals.

Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com about the two players, Football Manager Bobby Motaung said; “We signed the two players with the future in mind. Both players are already full internationals with Zimbabwe.

“Lincolin Zvasiya (20) comes from the Aces Academy that produced Knowledge Musona. We have good relations with Aces and when we were looking for a centre back, they recommended Lincolin. He came through for a trial and we were happy with what we saw. He is a future prospect for the Club.

“We have signed Willard Katsande from Ajax Cape Town. I was with Ace Khuse in Zimbabwe and that is where we spotted Willard. He is a special player and we believe that he is going to bring something special to the team,” said Motaung.

He added that the signing of the duo is an attempt to help the Technical Team to reach their goals, “It is important that we have depth in the squad. In football you never know what might happen tomorrow.

“There are two weeks to go till the closure of the transfer window and if something special comes up and it fits to our need we will not hesitate to make another signing.

Zvasiya has been training with team for the past two weeks while Willard Katsande joined his new teammates for the first time on Monday.
