Chiefs go Red in fight against Aids

In commemoration for World Aids day on the 1st of December and aids awareness month, which began on the 20th November and will end on the 20th of December - Kaizer Chiefs will be conducting various aids awareness campaigns.

In conjunction with the department of health’s Khomanani programme and Nike Project - Kaizer Chiefs will have the red aids awareness logo emblazoned on their playing kit.



Chiefs have previously had the Aids awareness logo emblazoned on their jersey six seasons ago during the 1999-2000 campaign.

Nike, the clubs technical sponsors have added a new dimension to the aids awareness campaign.

Starting this Sunday (27-11-05), when the Amakhosi take on SuperSport United, Chiefs players will take to the field wearing red bootlaces as part of Chiefs aids awareness programme and Nike who are busy developing their own media campaign against the deadly disease.
