Kaizer Chiefs will start the 2002/2003 Castle Premier League campaign at Loftus Stadium on August 25 against Sundowns in a 15:30 kick-off according to the latest PSL fixtures.
But the biggest encounter in the South African soccer season – Chiefs vs Pirates – will only take place on December 14 at FNB Stadium. Amakhosi drew first blood with a sensational 1-0 win against the Sea Robbers in the Telkom Charity Cup to take the advantage in the history on the Soweto derby since the start of the Castle Premiership in 1996.
Pirates had the upper hand last season winning two out of the four encounters with match drawn and the biggest win for Chiefs a 1-0 win in the BP Top Eight.
