Kaizer Chiefs are in pole position in the annual Telkom Charity Cup after amassing over 789 votes at lunch-time on Tuesday with archrivals Orlando Pirates in second place with 442 votes.
Limpopo-based side Dynamos are third with 339, while Sundowns are fourth with 309 votes cast already.
On the fifth spot is another Northern Province side Black Leopards with 291 vote, while Moroka Swallows, who finished sixth in last season’s league campaign, is in position six with 175 votes.
The voting opening opened on Monday soon after the tournament's launch in Sandton, Johannesburg, in which it was announced that the sponsorship for the competition has been increased to R4.5 million, which will run for the next five years.
