The Absa Premiership match between Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards at the FNB Stadium, Soccer City Complex last night was abandoned 32 minutes into the first half due to inclement weather.



Referee, Daniel Bennett abandoned the match after the pitch was covered in hail and therefore deemed unsafe and unplayable.



Kaizer Chiefs were leading 2-0 at the time.



According to Rule 8.14 of the National Soccer League (NSL) Rules, if a match is abandoned through weather or the state of the pitch, the League will set another date on which the match will be played. All records of an abandoned match will be expunged except dismissals incurred.



The PSL can confirm that this fixture will be replayed on Wednesday 19 September 2012. Kick-off time is 19:30, at the same venue.
