The Phefeni Glamour Boys will be looking at bouncing back when they visit unpredictable, Platinum Stars at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, 07 April 2012.

Chiefs despite playing well on the evening came off second best against Black Leopards on Tuesday dropping to fifth place in the Absa Premiership standings ahead of this weekend’s round of games.

Striker, Sthembiso Ngcobo is aware that they cannot afford anymore slips up if they harbour ambitions to bring the elusive Absa Premiership title to Naturena.

“We were disappointed as players that we did not get maximum points against Black Leopards on Tuesday but we have to forget about that game and focus on Platinum Stars.

“Preparations for the game have been going quite well and we all realise that we cannot afford to drop more points. On the other hand Platinum Stars seem to have their confidence back and they will come to us firing on Saturday,” said Ngcobo speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday afternoon.

The lanky forward came as a late second half substitute against Black Leopards and he revealed that he has completely healed from the calf muscle injury he sustained back in February.

“I am delighted to be back and credit should go to the Medical Team for job well done. It is always frustrating to watch proceedings from the sidelines.

“I have managed to come in as a substitute and I am pushing hard in training to start. The team though is more important and if the Technical Team gives me an opportunity I will grab it with both hands,” added Ngcobo.
