Kaizer Chiefs were drawn at home against the National First Division outfit United FC in the semifinals of the Nedbank Cup. The draw took place at the Premier Soccer League headquarters in Parktown, Johannesburg on Monday, 15 April 2013.

The other semifinal match will see SuperSport United squaring up against fellow PSL side, Platinum Stars.

The Kaizer Chiefs, United FC encounter will provide the Club's development product and former striker, Lucky Khune an opportunity to face his older brother and Chiefs captain, Itumeleng 'Spider' Khune and his former team-mates at Naturena.

The Chiefs, United game will play on the weekend of the still to be decided 4/5 May 2013. The date and the venue will be confirmed in due course.
