The 2nd Sunday of the month of May is a very important calendar date with the annual Mother’s Day celebrations taking place in the Republic.

The Executive Chairman Kaizer Motaung expressed his best wishes to all the mothers on Mother’s Day, 12 May 2013; “May all the love you give to others come back to you on this special day”.

People of South Africa celebrate Mother's Day in its true spirit by acknowledging the importance of mothers in their lives and thanking them profusely for all their love and care – something that is embedded in the founding principles of Amakhosi and illustrated via the Club’s slogan of Love & Peace.

Kaizer Chiefs in its entirety would like to take this opportunity to thank and wish all the Mothers a happy and fulfilling day of pampering. Reality dictates that on hind side, Amakhosi should spread Love & Peace to the Mothers that are not so fortunate to be pampered due to a variety of circumstances.
