Chiefs regrets the death of a faithful

The Executive Chairman, Mr Kaizer Motaung, has on behalf of the entire Amakhosi family, expressed shock and deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends of one of the Amakhosi faithful.



The Club can reveal the name of Mr Langa Ngcece as the victim from a Minibus accident involving the supporters traveling from Durban to the Soweto Derby in the early hours of Saturday, 26 October 2013.



The Club mourns the death of Mr Langa Ngcece from Umgababa (stayed in Newlands) Durban. The late Ngcece was traveling with his fellow Amakhosi supporters from the Cathedral Supporters Branch to the Soweto Derby, taking place at FNB Stadium, in Johannesburg.



It is understood that their Minibus collided with a truck in Ladysmith, near the Tugela Plaza.



Motaung also wished the injured a speedy recovery.



There was a moment of silence observed in respect of the departed soul before the kickoff of the Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, on Saturday afternoon.
