The limelight belonged to the talented midfielder Jabu Pule who
walked away with two awards, that of the Player of the Tournament
and Goal of the Tournament and pocketed R75 000 for his
achievement.
Victorious coach Mushin Ertugral took the Coach of the Tournament
award - his second in a week - after capturing the same award
last week for the BP Top Eight competition.
Chiefs' Mozambican import Jossias Macamo received the Moment of the
Year while the club's spokesperson, Putco Mafani, was chosen PRO of
the year.
Novice of the year went to the fast-improving Free State Stars
striker, Jimmy Kauleza, while Simon Motau won Referee of the
Tournament.
There were also awards for the media with the main ones going to
Bareng Batho Kortjaas of the Sowetan Sunday World for Grand Flair
print media award while SABC's Robert Marawa scooped the same prize
for broadcasting.
