Kaizer Chiefs on Friday completed their third major signing ahead of the 2012/2013 season with industrious midfielder, Siyabonga Nkosi joining on a two year deal.



The 30 year old on his second spell at the Club having joined back in 2006 before leaving for Germany is considered as one of the best passers in the Absa Premiership.



Football Manager, Bobby Motaung commented on kaizerchiefs.com; “Siyabonga (Nkosi) is one of the top midfielders in the country and his experience will definitely help the team move forward. He has a lot to offer and he is going to add depth in the team.



He is a good reader of the game and also can be a good dead ball specialist. I would like to welcome him back to the Club,” said Bobby Motaung.



‘Doctor’ as Siyabonga Nkosi is affectionately known in football circles started his professional career at Orlando Pirates in 2003/2004 season. It was at Bloemfontein Celtic where he established himself as one of the best midfielders in the country before joining Kaizer Chiefs in June 2006.



He spent a season with the Glamour Boys as he joined then Bundesliga outfit, Arminia Bielefeld in Germany. He had a short stint with Maccabi Netanya before coming back to South Africa to join SuperSport United where he won the league. He left United to join Golden Arrows where his contract is up end of June.



Nkosi has also represented Bafana Bafana 25 times scoring two goals. It was the current Kaizer Chiefs coach, Stuart Baxter who handed the Newcastle born his debut at international level back in 2005.
