Kaizer Chiefs are still in pole position in the annual Telkom Charity Cup after amassing over 2292 votes at lunch-time on Wednesday with archrivals Orlando Pirates in second place with 1523 votes.



Limpopo-based side Dynamos are third with 1349, while Sundowns are fourth with 1146 votes cast already.



On the fifth spot is another Northern Province side Black Leopards with 722 votes, while Moroka Swallows, who finished sixth in last season's league campaign, is in position six with 517 votes.



The voting opening opened on Monday, June 23 soon after the tournament's launch in Sandton, Johannesburg, in which it was announced that the sponsorship for the competition has been increased to R4.5 million, which will run for the next five years.



The voting closing date is at midnight on July 25.
