Kaizer Chiefs in conjunction with main sponsors Vodacom continued with their roadshows on Monday when they invaded Nelspruit Taxi Rank on the Heritage Day ahead of the Absa Premiership encounter against hosts, Bidvest Wits.
The supporters once again came in numbers with the Taxi Rank almost at a standstill as players, Brilliant Khuzwayo, Kgotso Moleko and Matthew Rusike interacted with the enthusiastic fans.
Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Motaung, Communications and PR Manager Vina Maphosa, Emmanuel Khumalo and Supporters Relations Manager Cecil Motaung including the Retail Team were at hand to attend to the supporters that included Manzini Branch from Swaziland.
Mandla Simelane, of Manzini Swaziland commented speaking to kaizerchiefs.com, “We are all having fun here with Kaizer Chiefs and sponsors, Vodacom. People are winning prizes and most importantly the Club is promoting its properties, Kaizer Chiefs Retail Store, Insurance Products and Media Properties.
“The fans also had an opportunity to meet and greet the Management and players. I would like on behalf of the fans from Swaziland to thank both Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom for making this possible. There is no better way of taking the Club to the people than this,” added a visible elated Simelane.
Communications Manager Vina Maphosa paid a glowing tribute to the fans for the support in the past two days; “People in Mpumalanga have been awesome in the past two days, first KwaNyamazane and today here in Nelspruit Taxi Rank. The support we have received will without a doubt rub off the team ahead of the encounter against Bidvest Wits this evening.
The two roadshows were a resounding success and we will continue to do this throughout the season. I would like on behalf of the Club to thank our sponsors Vodacom for the support,” concluded Jessica Motaung.
