Kaizer Chiefs will on Saturday, 16 February 2013 welcome Free State Stars at FNB Stadium a game that marks the first home game for the Club in the year 2013.

To mark the first home game of the year the Club together with main sponsors, Vodacom will host activation on Friday ahead of the game.

The event to be held in one of Gauteng’s oldest townships follows a scintillating Roadshow held in Mabopane in Pretoria on Monday, 11 February 2013 as Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung commented speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday afternoon.

“We are hoping once more for a great reception in Alexandra. The Club has always had a special relationship with the township that gave birth to some of our legends, Isaac Chirwa, Brian ‘Spiderman’ Baloyi, Isaac ‘Shakes’ Khungwane including Isaac Mabotsa.

“We would like to once more thank our main sponsors, Vodacom for their continued commitment in our efforts to take the brand to the people. As part of our strategy to strengthen our branches we will together with our Supporters Relations Department address governance related matters.

Motaung added that the activation will be used to promote the Club properties and the home game against Free State Stars on Saturday.
