Kaizer Chiefs will take on Platinum Stars at home, in the semifinal of the Telkom Knockout Cup competition. The draw was conducted pitch side, after the last of the TKO QF matches was played between Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows on Wednesday night. The proceedings were televised live from Orlando Stadium. Pirates advanced to have their name included in the hat following a 4 – 0 win over Arrows.

Reacting to the draw, the Amakhosi midfielder, Mandla Masango told the gathered media; “We welcome the draw. To us it was a matter of drawing any of the three teams. Drawing teams home or away is the same for Chiefs. We are going to prepare for Platinum Stars and make sure we go to the final.”

The PSL announced the possible dates for Chiefs and Platinum Stars game as the 2nd or 3rd of November 2013. The other semifinal between SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates, will be played around the 20th and the 24th of November due to Pirates’s participation in the CAF Championship Cup final 1st leg taking place on the 2nd of November 2013.

The PSL Competitions Committee will confirm the dates & venues in due course.
