Kaizer Chiefs will on Monday, 09 July 2012 launch the new away kit for 2012/2013 campaign at SABC Headquarters in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.

The kit will be launched during prime time soccer show on SABC 1, Soccerzone at 21:00 revealed a visibly elated Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday afternoon.

“We are very excited as the Club to be launching our new kit and for the public broadcaster, SABC to be part of this momentous occasion. It will be for the first time for a Football Club to launch a kit on a live show. We did it in front of the fans with the whole team present at the Nike Centre, Soweto in 2011 and this time around we opted for SABC.

The launch of our new away kit will finally end the speculation as some kits have been ‘unveiled’ on social media platforms during the past weeks. Once again Nike was fantastic during the designing of the kit and we have no doubt that the fans are going to (appreciate) the new design,” added Motaung.

The new kit will be on sale at Kaizer Chiefs Retail store at the Village, Naturena from Thursday, 12 July 2012.
