Kaizer Chiefs will take the field on Friday, 02 August 2013 in the Absa Premiership opener against Mpumalanga Black Aces without the services of trio, Siyabonga Nkosi, Keegan Ritchie and George Lebese.

Siyabonga Nkosi has not featured in any of the pre-season games as he is nursing a calf injury while Keegan Ritchie injured his Achilles tendon in training this week.

George Lebese who has been on form during the Gauteng Football Cup and Carling Black Label Cup victories is serving a one-match suspension after receiving a fourth caution against SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup Final at the end of 2012-13 PSL season.

Kick-off for the game at Mbombela Stadium is at 20h00.
