Two of world’s greatest teams, Real Madrid and Barcelona will square up tomorrow at Santiago Bernabeu and with Chiefs off this weekend most will be glued on the telly to watch one of the greatest derbies in the world.
Kaizerchiefs.com went around the offices at the Village and the views were divided ahead of the classic encounter.
The first stop was the office of Supporters Relations Manager, Cecil Motaung; “Messi is going to win the game for Barcelona without a doubt”
Team Analyst, Kenneth Dambe a Liverpool supporter differs, “Barca’s defence is too slow. It will be a tight one but Real Madrid should win it. Mo (Mourinho) always delivers in his second season,”
Mama Sarah Mokgatle, “Real Madrid is going to win tomorrow. I support them. Ronaldo is going to make a difference,”
Football Manager, Bobby Motaung a self confessed Catalan fan feels that Barcelona has an edge over their bitter rivals, “I watched them playing early this week with a B-Team. Real Madrid does not stand a chance.
Real Madrid who has not beaten Barcelona in a league game carry a three-point lead over their Catalan rivals with a game in hand. They have looked more dangerous this season and demolished Ajax Amsterdam on Wednesday in the Champions League with some of their regulars on the bench.
Barcelona though is not underdogs though going to this game, when Andries Iniesta, Xavi and Messi are on form they can beat any team in the world.
Sophia Lebusa, Personal Assistant of Executive Chairman, Kaizer Motaung told kaizerchiefs.com; “the remote will tomorrow belong to my son Ofentse. He is an ardent Barcelona fan. It is through him that I also follow Barca and they should beat Real Madrid tomorrow.
Company Secretary, Aziz Shaikh believes that Barcelona is too reliant on Argentinean, Lionel Messi and that is working against them, “Real Madrid should win the game. They are the better of the two sides. I am a Barcelona supporter but I am being realist. If you take Messi away then there is no Barcelona. They are relying too much on him,”
News coming from La Liga ahead of this weekend’s matches reveal that Jose Mourinho will not be speaking at Friday’s regular news conference rather his assistant will take questions. The Portuguese has had a testy relationship with the journalists in Spain since refusing to speak ahead the La Liga game against Barca back in April while ever calm Pep Guardiola will hold a news conference later this Friday.
Quicksilver strikers, Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo have both scored 16 goals this season and the one on top form on Saturday should win the game for their side.
