Condolences: The late Professor Sos Mokgokong
On behalf of the Kaizer Chiefs directors, management, players, staff and supporters, I express our profound shock at the sad news of the untimely death of Professor Sos Mokgokong, a die-hard and well respected supporter of our club. Some of us in soccer have been priviledged to have shared with him some of his finest moments as a gentlemen and respectful leader.
Professor Mokgokong was the epitome of greatness, a perfect exhibitor of success with modesty.
I have, over the years learnt that, the nearer we come to great men, the more clearly we see they are only men, and that is what we came to know of Professor Mokgokong, though assertive but mortal, being vulnerable to life’ s cruel destination - death.
Were it not for the contribution of men like Professor Mokgokong, Kaizer Chiefs and its supporters’ club in Swaziland would not have been where it is today, his support, opinions and close observance has made us develop a passion for growth. Prof was like a tree, he died at the top.
His was a life to be celebrated, his qualities to be copied and his values to be imitated. Our deepest condolences go to all his children and grand children, and the entire family. This ordeal is intended to make us better not bitter, for he has played his part.
May the Lord bless his departed soul.
Robala ka khotso Kolobe ya Matlatse, ya Marena.
Yours in sport,
KAIZER MOTAUNG
Chairman
