Chairman, Kaizer Motaung has sent a message of condolences to Club captain, Jimmy Tau and his family for the loss of his mother, Louisa Tau who passed on this Tuesday morning after celebrating her 53rd birthday on Sunday, 19 April. Louisa, a mother of two succumbed to death in Johannesburg following a long illness.

Jimmy Tau was at training this morning when he was called by Management to inform him that he should go to the hospital. The Football Manager Mr. Bobby Motaung accompanied him to the hospital. He then learnt that his dear mother has passed away.

“On behalf of Kaizer Chiefs Family, the Technical Team, Players and staff, I would like to take this opportunity to send our earnest condolences to our captain, Jimmy Tau who lost his mother on Tuesday morning.

We are deeply saddened by this news and we trust that the player and his family will remain strong during these trying times,” said Kaizer Motaung.
