Midfield hard man Willard Katsande was rewarded with the 'Man of the Match' for his gallant display against Moroka Swallows on Friday, 31st January 2014.

"It was a tough game. Playing Swallows away was always going to be a difficult game. The Derbies are always hard games. I would like to congratulate the Team for coming back with all three points under the difficult pitch conditions," commented Katsande.

"I am happy with my performance. It shows that hardworking pays. As a player I can never be satisfied I must keep working and always leave some room for improvement. It's about me as an individual but the Team comes first," said Katsande.

"I will continue to work hard at training to improve my game. So far I am happy with my progress . My goal is to help the team win more silverware," said the tough as teak Katsande.

The 'Man of the Match' award against Swallows was his second of the season. Katsande was the recipient of the same award when Chiefs defeated Free State Stars in the Absa Premiership game played on the 30th November 2013.
