Acer, who are Amakhosi's official IT partner, will become the kit supplier and currently plans are underway to register the Cyber Team in the Corporate League, according to brand manager Vivian Casaletti, who was instrumental in clinching the deal for the chatterers.

Acer marketing and communications manager Stella Helwick, who will be the team manager, said she was thrilled to be closely associated with the supporters and that this deal will further enhance the relationship between the sponsor and the supporters.

Acer has assisted, with the supply of computer hardware, to establish Chiefs Cyber Centres for supporters. This initiative will establish online communications within the Kaizer Chiefs community around the country, with an intranet connecting the local branches.

The KC Cyber Branch team has so far played two matches winning their first ever match against Orlando Pirates Fanzoners 5-2 in Kempton Park on May 1.
