The tribunal has released the information and decision about Josta Dladla's doping case on Tuesday afternoon. The panel reached a final decision on 13 May 2014.

The decision is: "The Player is ineligible to compete and participate in any authorized or organised sport by any amateur or professional league or any national or international level event organised during the period of 9 January 2014 to 13 May 2014, both dates inclusive."

The decision effectively allows Dladla to resume with his playing career from the 14th May 2014.

This follows The South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport finding that the midfielder failed the drugs test when Chiefs played Orlando Pirates on October 26 at Soccer City, and it was subsequently found that he had used a banned stimulant called Methylhexaneamine.

Kaizer Chiefs welcomed the decision of the tribunal, and with regard to Dladla's contract, the matter will be subject to the standard processes of deliberating on the player's contract.
