Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday Dladla joked about his long day out at the Bryanston Golf course saying, “it was a long day on Monday thankfully we completed the course.”
The Chiefs midfielder who also featured in the 2010 Kaizer Chiefs executive golf day believes that he will improve for next year’s tournament, “last year I thought I did well this year the field was a bit more competitive.
"Hopefully next year will be my time, I will get down to work on my golf game and I intend to play at least twice a week if my schedule allows so watch out.”
There was an upside to being the longest four ball out as it did come with an award which was handed out at the prize giving ceremony held on Monday evening at the end of the day’s play.
“I won a subscription to a magazine for 12 months, all the work out on the course did earn us some reward,” explained Dladla.
As it is the off season and with most players gone on holiday Dladla is not venturing far away from Johannesburg and is using his time off to catch up on some much needed rest.
As he said of this, “I have not made any plans to go away I will be staying at home working out in the gym and improving my Golf Game. It has been a good break thus far and I am really enjoying the time off to just kick back and relax.”
