Fans could well sympathise with Ertugal as his side squandered numerous chances to win the match in both halves.
AmaZulu on the other hand, hardly created a single clear-cut
chance and were relieved when referee Sipho Masondo blew the final whistle.
Chiefs had a chance to open the score in the 12th minute when Zimbabwean under-23 international Washington Nengamasha missed a sitter after a good build up from the middle.
Thabo Mooki saw his well-angled shot hit the upright and bounce back in field in the 38th minute.
The second half was almost a replica of the first as Chiefs
continued with their domination but failed to push the ball into
the back of the net.
Although they remain in line for a top eight finish, Chiefs will
have to vastly improve to achieve their aim.
AmaZulu are still firmly entrenched in the relegation zone and
unless they pick up full points in most of their five remaining
fixtures, they will drop to the first division having survived just
one the season in the Premier League following their promotion last year.
