Kaizer Chiefs’ medical team has reported an injuries update ahead of the crunch Absa Premiership clash against Moroka Swallows on Wednesday night.



Katlego Mphela is progressing well and running on a special treadmill.



Itumeleng Khune is reported to be improving every day and working hard off-the-pitch.



Meanwhile, Kingston Nkhatha is training again after suffering from a tummy bug before the Cape Town trip last weekend.



Bernard Parker has a bone bruising on his foot. The striker recently underwent an ankle surgery, but this concerns a different area. He should be fairly soon back to full fitness.



George Maluleka was seen limping off during the Ajax Cape Town game last weekend. He was diagnosed with an adductor muscle strain. He had a scan, which revealed a muscle injury. He should be back on the pitch in the next three weeks.
