Bafana Bafana has been dealt a blow with the withdrawal of Kaizer Chiefs fullbacks, Siboniso Gaxa and Tsepo Masilela due to injury.

The two players were part of the eight players called up from Naturena ahead of the international friendly against Lesotho on Sunday, 02 June and two 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and Central African Republic.

“Masilela went for a scan on Monday. It was decided that he goes for exploratory surgery on his knee on Thursday. Siboniso Gaxa has a hamstring strain. He will be out for two weeks and then start rehabilitation,” revealed Team Physio, Dave Milner speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday afternoon.
