Chiefs will resume the defense of their PSL title in what surely is to be an explosive and entertaining affair against current log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at the FNB Stadium a day after Valentines day.
The game between the Amakhosi and the Brazilians was originally scheduled to be played in September, but was postponed when Chiefs got a high court injunction for the game to be postponed. This was after the PSL had originally ruled that the game be played behinds closed doors.
A week after the clash on the 15th February the two teams will do battle once again when Sundowns host Chiefs in the second round game. The result of the two games are likely to have a huge impact on the title race and Amakhosi Coach Ernst Middendorp has said that nothing less than six points against will suffice for Chiefs.
Tickets for the first game between the two teams on the 15th of February when Chiefs play host to Sundowns went on sale at Computicket outlets countrywide on Monday at a cost of R20.Supporters can also purchase tickets for the game at the Amakhosi Store which is located on the corner of Rissik and Main Street in the Johannesburg CBD.
The game is scheduled to kick off at the FNB Stadium at 20h00 on Wednesday the 15th of February. Why not bring your Valentines to the game?
