The Glamour Boys will have a score to settle with Golden Arrows when the two sides square up at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, 06 November 2012.

The game will be the first this season for the Glamour Boys in Polokwane’s impressive Peter Mokaba Stadium, a stadium that Chiefs have used for the past two seasons as an alternative home ground.

Last season on this corresponding fixture at Peter Mokaba Stadium, Golden Arrows broke Chiefs unbeaten record following a flying start in the Premiership and the away fixture the Glamour Boys managed just a point.

Football Manager, Bobby Motaung commented; “Golden Arrows have always been a tricky side to come up against because of the style of football they play. They have given us problems in the past and we have a score to settle with them and that alone makes this game a massive one for us as the Club.

“The Head Coach, Mr. Stuart Baxter has already alluded to the importance of the team to remain focus on the objectives the Club has set this season. The players and everyone associated with the Club is united towards Reclaiming the Glory. We remain unbeaten in the Absa Premiership and we want to keep that record intact.”

Corporate Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa added; “There have been calls since the start of the season from our branches as far as Giyani on when the Club will return to Polokwane. We had to listen to our supporters because the ground is an alternative venue for us and of course we have enjoyed success there over the past two seasons. We would then like to urge the fans to buy the tickets early to avoid disappointment.

“The preparations for the game started immediately after the team returned from Pietermaritzburg and the players have put the disappointment of the draw behind them. The spirit among the players remains at its highest and they are determined to bring back glory to the Club. The Amakhosi are not going to sleep until this happens,” added Maphosa with supreme confidence.

This being Kaizer Chiefs first home league game at Peter Mokaba Stadium this season entertainment will be galore and the fans will not go home empty handed as in conjuction with main sponsors, Vodacom the Club will have prizes for the fans to win at half time. The Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung announced that there will be marketing activation on Monday, 5 November at the Limpopo Mall (14h00 – 18h00) as well as on Tuesday, 6 November at the SABC Park ( 11h00 – 15h00).

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers at R40 for adults. Juveniles will have to be accompanied by adults to buy their tickets for R10 at the stadium.

Kick off for this encounter is billed for 19:30.
