The Glamour Boys will be looking to close the season on a high when they welcome AmaZulu to the African Calabash, Soccer City Complex on Saturday, 19 May 2012.

The curtain comes down on Saturday, 19 May 2012 to what has been once again one of the most exciting seasons in the history of Absa Premiership.

The Glamour Boys bow out this season without a trophy to show but there is no doubt that once again the boys from Phefeni provided some of the thrilling moments this season and having won the past three games they will be looking forward to make it four on the trot in the expense of KwaZulu Natal based outfit.

The encounter did not produce any goals when the two sides squared up in the first round in Durban but this time it might be a different ball game.

Football Manager, Bobby Motaung called on the Club’s faithful to come in numbers to give the Club a wonderful send off.

“This has once again been a thrilling season and although we did not win any cups but we are proud of the progress some of our young players made this season. Players like Lucky Baloyi, Lehlohonolo Majoro and George Lebese showed that they can play an important role in the Club starting from next season.

We were unlucky on some occasions where we lost some of our key players in crucial stages during the season. There were times this season when we played an exciting brand of football but could not convert our chances. The team showed against Free State Stars what can be achieved next season.

The boys showed character coming from a goal down and we will be looking at picking up where we left off in QwaQwa when we welcome AmaZulu this coming Saturday. The team including the Technical Team is aware of the importance of finishing as high as possible in the league table.

Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung said; “The period made us to stick together as a family and we learnt to support one another. The supporters also played a key role in turning things around for the team through their supportive messages. We look forward to the supporters coming to Soccer City on Saturday to close off the season on a positive note.

The importance of positive results against AmaZulu cannot be over emphasized but also the game against AmaZulu gives us an opportunity to thank you; the supporter for rallying behind the team to what was a tough season.

Similarities can be drawn from the Manchester City supporters who supported the team through and through over the years without winning cups and now the tables are changing and they were rewarded on Sunday winning the English Premiership. Our supporters have through our history of existence stood by the Club and showed their support to the team despite the results, this we appreciate.

Motaung added that entertainment will be galore this Saturday; “This being our last game we will once again invite Kwaito icon, Brickz who will be entertaining fans with some of his classic songs.

DJ Tokzen will also be spinning the discs. As it has been a norm in our home games; the supporters stand a chance of walking away with goodies courtesy of the Club and our main sponsors, Vodacom.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs and main sponsors, Vodacom will invade Pretoria, Sammy Marks Square with a roadshow starting from 11H00 – 17H00. The Supporters Club will be there to interact with fans, register and renew membership. Club’s authentic merchandise will also be on sale on what will be the last roadshow of the season.

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers at R40 for adults and R10 for children.

Kick off for this encounter is billed for 15:00
