While the bulk of the Kaizer Chiefs squad are being put through their paces at the Club’s training camp in Türkiye by the new coaching team, headed up by Nasreddine Nabi, four players remained behind due to injuries.
Long-time Amakhosi physiotherapist gave an update to www.kaizerchiefs.com on the relative stages of recuperation winger, Tebogo Postane, the versatile Dillan Solomons, and midfielders, George Matlou and Mduduzi Mdantsane are currently undergoing.
“Tebogo’s recovery from groin surgery is progressing well and he is expected to be back in training in about two weeks,” Milner reveals.
“Dillon had shoulder surgery, so he won’t be ready for roughly another nine weeks, although he has started running and rehabilitation,” he continues.
“George is only expected back in October following his knee surgery. However, I am happy to report that he is in the gym and doing some light running,” says the experienced physio.
Finally, on Mdantsane, who unfortunately suffered a broken jaw in a recent motor vehicle accident, Milner reports, “He had surgery and, if all goes well, is expected back in 3 months’ time.”
We wish the boys speedy recoveries and look forward to seeing them back where they belong… on the field of play.
