The ‘Mighty Amakhosi’ sent out a very clear message: The league is still far from over! Kaizer Chiefs netted in 5 goals, 3 in the first half and 2 in the second half. The Amakhosi faithful left the stadium with good hopes for Saturday’s derby.
The Kaizer Chiefs Marketing team continues to work hard to attract more fans to the stadium and musical attractions such as Touch Mabanga and Bozza of Skwatta Kamp fame proved worthy crowd pullers for a mid week game. Touch dazzled the crowd with his Maskandi magic while Bozza performed his newly released track. Touch and Bozza rocked the crowd in keeping with this season’s theme, ‘Gold and still Rocking’.
Kaizer Chiefs social responsibility beneficiary Carol Shaw, were invited to entertain the crowd. In keeping with the 16 days of activism against women and child abuse, Carol Shaw sent a young troupe of traditional dancers. The Zola Pantsula Dancers also took the ‘stage’ and provided the supporters with some local Kasi entertainment.
Miss Tsepho Mailula (Johannesburg Central Branch) and Mr. Amos Mukhari (Dobsonville Branch) were chosen as the most uniquely dressed supporters. Thank you to Standard Bank who provided Miss Mailula with a R1000 and to Intercape who gave away 2 return vouchers to Mr. Mukhari. Winners also received two Kaizer Chiefs hampers packed full with Kaizer Chiefs merchandise.
The ambiance was electrifying, the fans were happy and the ‘Glamour Boys’ did it again!
We are definitely still Rocking!
