Willard ‘Simba’ Katsande has told kaizerchiefs.com the Glamour Boys have an opportunity to finish the season in style by winning the last two trophies.

The Zimbabwean international, who joined the Club back in August last year, has started the last two games, partnering his compatriot, Tinashe Nengomasha, last weekend away to Bidvest Wits.

Chiefs welcome Cape Town All Stars in the Nedbank Last 32 tie at Soccer City Complex on Saturday, 03 March, 2012 and are second on the Absa Premiership table.

“We have a chance to finish the season in style by winning the last two trophies but we cannot start thinking about May. We have a tough game against Cape Town All Stars in the Nedbank Cup and this is our focus now.

“We are going to approach the game the same as any other game. There is a lot at stake so we cannot take anything for granted."

Katsande has welcomed an opportunity to start in the team, “It is a privilege to be here but you need to play. It can be difficult to break in the team as there is quality in the team.

“I did not change my approach to the game and I just worked hard and waited for my chance. Hard work pays and in my case it is through hard work and support from everyone that I have started the past two games.

“I cannot rest on my laurels though, as there is a lot of work ahead. At Chiefs, you are not a big player until you win trophies, so I want to help the team to win trophies.
